“How dangerous,” she thought, “to finally have something worth losing.”

People always say that, when you love someone, nothing in the world matters. But that’s not true, is it? You know, and I know, that when you love someone, everything in the world matters a little bit more.
— Jodi Picoult, Handle with Care
“Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same”
-Emily Bronte, Wuthering Heights
This is a link to a website that lists famous definitions of love from 4oo years of literacy. It’s interesting to see the differences and similarities of love from back then and now. I’m a big sucker for quotes, especially those regarding love, so I love this website and I love writing down quotes that stand out to me. It’s cool how they start from 400 years ago and then slowly make their way up to modern day definitions of love. Seeing that comparison is captivating because it just shows how much love has changed and/or stayed the same over 400 years.
I made this video using a compilation of photos and video from my computer that I believe encompass “love” in my life. I hope you enjoy it! 🙂
