Love is…

I made this video using a compilation of photos and video from my computer that I believe encompass “love” in my life. I hope you enjoy it! 🙂

When I read the prompt for this assignment and it said the main topic was love, flashes of different images and feelings popped into my head. Love, to me, is an accumulation of so many different things. Love is family, friends, quotes, music, pictures, feelings, and I can’t even imagine making up a set definition for love. Love has so many different forms and everyone has a different perspective on it. That is the main reason why I chose to make a website that solely focused on displaying the “different looks of love.” I hope through this assignment, I will be able to see love in all it’s form and that others will be able to see as well!

“I hope you know that every time I tell you to get home safe, stay warm, have a good day, or sleep well what I am really saying is I love you. I love you so damn much that it is starting to steal other words’ meanings.”

As I grow older, I find that there are different types of love, but they all converge into a singular denominator somewhere.

“I think love is an emotion that we feel unconditionally for someone.
Love comes in all different forms and is different for each person.
It could be bad, it could be good;
But it’s an emotion that you feel for someone unconditionally.”

it’s what it means to be sentient

it’s giving & being selfish all at once

a unifying & destroying factor

it’s very chemical & I believe there is a solid science behind it

that doesn’t dilute the beauty & experience of it in any way

it can go awry or it can bloom magnificently

it’s terribly beautiful
